Details

The Bothnian Sea lies between Sweden and Finland, where our herring is caught. In the Uusikaupunki fishing port in Finland, the herring is then filleted and marinated in barrels. The fillets are then allowed to mature in the marinade before being hand-packed into glass jars along with locally grown fresh onions and herbs. Taste the difference. Each jar displays the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) logo, indicating sustainable fishing practices.
